IFBA WelcomeDear Alan,I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Broomball Australia for the ongoing dedication and commitment to the Sport of Broomball in Australia. The focal point of any organization is the National Championship and the Executive of Broomball Australia have now succeeded to make this event a great annual festival for your athletes to compete and crown National Broomball Champions. The IFBA recognizes the importance of National and World events as a means of delivering results in wider agendas such as national and international influence, health, education, tourism, social inclusion and regeneration. By providing a yearly venue for broomball athletes, Broomball Australia has accomplished the goal of spirited athleticism, camaraderie, sportsmanship and above all.new found friends. Congratulations to the 2008 National Host Committee for volunteering the many personal hours it takes to organize an event of this size. The commitment and dedication will be rewarded at the conclusion of the event when the teams in attendance hoist that pint and say .Thank You!. Please extend our warm greetings and wishes for a successful event and may the best team win, but most of all, show the citizens of Penrith how much fun the Sport of Broomball really is. Good luck/Bon chance to everyone and we look forward to having a delegation of athletes representing Broomball Australia at the World Championships in Canada this fall.
